Associate Professor/Professor and Director, Northeastern University Biomedical Imaging Center

The College of Science at Northeastern University invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Psychology serving as Director for the Northeastern University Biomedical Imaging Center (NUBIC). The successful candidate will have an internationally recognized, well-funded program of research in human MRI/fMRI and will be responsible for leading the NUBIC, building a user-base of scientists engaged in functional, diffusion, spectroscopy, and structural MRI research.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, physics, biomedical engineering, or a related field, or an M.D.
• A strong record of research commensurate with rank
• Experience in leadership positions
• The ability to build a strong research program
• The ability to teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate level
• The ability to supervise students and postdocs in their area of research
• The ability to participate in service to the department, university, and discipline
