The Bouvé College of Health Sciences invites applications to one position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor/Associate Teaching Professor/Full Teaching Professor and Associate Director of MS in Health Informatics Program. The position reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the health informatics profession and requires a demonstrated ability to work across all disciplines in healthcare to ensure that the healthcare technology supports the highest level of patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Teaching and participating in departmental, college, and university service
- Taking a leadership role in the preparation of the launch of the MS in Health Informatics with AI concentration in Charlotte
- Engaging in extensive networking in the greater Charlotte area to establish or further leverage relationships to build a base of prospective student applicants, teaching faculty to instruct in the program and partnerships with the local healthcare systems
- Managing program administrative activities
- Advising students on academic and curriculum/registration issues
- Serving as liaison between the program and University offices
- Managing admissions process for the Charlotte campus
- Advising on Charlotte capstone projects
- Coordinating with marketing groups
- Recruiting students to program
- Maintaining presence at events for recruitment
- Assisting in preparing and managing annual and multi-year enrollment projections
- Working with the Director in executing the program budget
