Upward Bound Summer Program Instructor

The Mills Institute at Northeastern University Upward Bound (MCUB) TRIO Program is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable educator to teach academic courses in Humanities, Mathematics, and Lab Sciences to high school students in rising 9th-12th grades. The position requires a passion for motivating and challenging students to generate skills necessary for college success.

Requirements

• Develop a course proposal/set of lesson plans
• Design and implement a course syllabus
• Establish classroom management policies and procedures
• Write a narrative evaluation on each student
• Participate in MCUB weekly staff meetings
• Attend instructor orientation/planning sessions and program activities
