The Purchasing Manager will coordinate supply procurement, distribution, and maintain inventory at SRBHH. The role will maintain an electronic inventory of all supplies relevant to patient care, work directly with hospital leadership and patient care givers to determine supply needs, and create and manage contracts with vendors.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital and/or Healthcare Experience strongly desired.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (word, excel, outlook).
- Experience and proficiency with software programs related to inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service with internal and external stakeholders including compassionate and professional communication, responsiveness to requests
- Meticulous ability to collect, track, monitor data and summarize results to senior leadership.
- Ability to organize workflow with minimal oversight, organize schedule and routine with minimal direction.
- Knowledge and Experience: AA or BA degree preferred in supply chain management, logistics or business administration Current NCI equivalent as approved by the Chief Nursing Officer (or obtained within the first 30 days of hire). One year hospital central supply distribution experience preferred.
