Senior Technical Architect

Award-winning architecture firm seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join their growing Los Angeles studio, working on institutional project types such as healthcare, science & technology, and higher education.

Requirements

• Passion for technical documentation and execution of projects
• Ability to lead technical execution of complicated institutional projects
• Strong technical detailing, documentation and creative problem solving skills
• Understanding of overall building system performance requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Ability to lead and mentor others in technical execution of projects
• Experience and knowledge in building codes and agency requirements, project specifications, and building systems and coordination with consultants
• Working with contractors/trades in collaborative delivery
• Development and QA/QC of contract documentation (drawings and specifications)
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM production
• Professional license within the State of California (strongly preferred)
• LEED certification (preferred)
