Northern Pines Mental Health Center, founded in 1964, serves six counties in Central Minnesota with a network of offices in Brainerd, Little Falls, Long Prairie, Staples, and Wadena. The center delivers a full spectrum of mental health services—including mobile crisis outreach, assertive community treatment for adults and youth, outpatient psychotherapy, medication management, and chemical health services—to individuals of all ages. Its distinctive approach blends comprehensive care with a sliding fee scale, housing assistance, and a community drop‑in center, ensuring accessibility for low‑income clients. Guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, Northern Pines operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope and enhancing lives within the communities it serves.

Psychiatric APRN
Advanced Practice Nurse with a certification in Psychiatry and Mental Health, current, unencumbered license in Minnesota, valid MN Driver's License, and ability to operate a motor vehicle for frequent work travel
Client Access Specialist
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Outpatient Therapist
Master's Degree, valid license in behavioral health, experience with mental illness, excellent written and verbal skills, and valid driver's license
Mental Health Practitioner - Adult In-home
Mental health practitioner qualifications, writing and computer skills, valid driver's license, and ability to travel
Behavioral Health Practitioner - Crisis Response
Valid driver’s license, master’s degree in behavioral sciences or 2,000 hours of work experience in mental health services
Mental Health Practitioner - School Based
2+ years of experience working with children, valid driver’s license, and qualifying as a mental health practitioner
Client Access Specialist - Mental Health Urgent Care
Behavioral Health Practitioner
Master's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields, or equivalent experience
