Associate Relationship Manager - Insurance & Healthcare Practice

The Associate Relationship Manager (Associate RM) is a client-facing role responsible for servicing relationships with existing Northern Trust Asset Management institutional investor clients. The Associate RM will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and other key teammates to ensure client satisfaction, supporting client service and business development functions as part of Northern Trust Asset Management’s Institutional Client Group.

Requirements

• Investment acumen: Ability to gain knowledge of the full range of public and private asset class solutions, including key high-priority Northern Trust Asset Management capabilities, along with awareness of industry trends influencing institutional investor behavior, particularly for insurance general accounts and healthcare system investments.
• Communication Skills: Ability to listen purposefully and apply problem-solving skills to identify and quickly address client servicing issues.
• Experience: A College or University degree and several years’ experience interacting with institutional investors or similar professional contacts.
• Licensing: Series 7 and 63 required or must be obtained within 90 days.
