Northern Trust is seeking a Lead, Cyber Security Engineer to develop quality deliverables, assist in technical design, and provide oversight of projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of business unit/function and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
- Develops quality deliverables including codes, unit tests, and support documentation
- Assists architect in the technical design and other team members with their development efforts
- Reviews documents, processes or procedures, and recommends where automation or improvements can be implemented
- Ensures that all supported systems and applications maintain the availability standard
- Provides oversight of projects; develop project plans by identifying detailed tasks, dependencies and assumptions, issues, and risks for projects
- Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit/function
- As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
- Responsible for direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
- Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
- Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities
- Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas
