Senior Consultant, Fund Accounting

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant for their Fund Accounting team. The role involves performing quality control checks, leading fund accounting projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of fund accounting/financial reporting experience and hold a recognized Professional Accounting Qualification.

Requirements

• Perform quality control checks on client deliverables across various fund accounting platforms
• Lead fund accounting projects, including new fund launches and process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with clients on day-to-day operational issues and address reportable events
• Conduct regular meetings with internal service providers to address operational concerns
• Assess and enhance the oversight framework, update due diligence assessments, and ensure internal service teams are well-informed and adequately trained on evolving regulatory requirements
• Hold a recognized Professional Accounting Qualification
• Have at least 8-10 years of fund accounting/financial reporting experience
