Senior Director, AI Security

Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Senior Director, AI Security to manage technology risk units and develop information security strategies.

Requirements

• Manages several Technology Risk units and/or functions
• Establishes performance standards for the unit
• Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and career development needs
• Approves Information Security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, policies and procedures
• Directs the development of techniques and procedures for conducting IS risk assessments and compliance audits
• Evaluates and tests hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security
• Investigates and resolves security incidents
• Advises management on security effectiveness and recommends enhancements
• Develops, implements, and communicates an overall strategy to meet both the business unit's and the corporation's strategic plan and priorities
• Determines staffing needs, makes hiring and firing decisions, handles salary administration, and ensures resources are available to accomplish priorities
• Develops unit(s) budget and manages the expenses for the unit
• Develops risk management and compliance programs and activities for the unit
