Job Description
The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for analytics around Northern Trust’s capital adequacy and capital management activities, including the annual capital and resolution plan, regular BAU activities, and various ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills required to evaluate financial results and projections across all financial statements
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary to present relevant information to senior management and business unit officers
- Strong accounting (GAAP), reporting and financial analysis
- Strong personal computer skills and analytics tools usage (Power BI, SQL, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- 7+ years relevant experience in financial or related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Advanced degree or industry recognized credentials (e.g. CFA, CPA) is preferred
