Sr Analyst, Cyber Security Threat Management

As a Senior Analyst, Cyber Security Threat Management, you will be part of Northern Trust's security operations center, responsible for conducting security monitoring, security incident identification, incident prioritization, incident escalation, and directed response support functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other IT related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience working in an information security monitoring & response role in a large, complex environment
• Solid understanding of the Cyber Incident Response Process & Life Cycle
• Intermediate knowledge of security monitoring tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, & Email Security Solutions
• Basic Networking concepts
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
• Experience with any SIEM query language is required
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Python will be considered an additional asset
• A valid CompTIA Security+ certification is a mandatory requirement for this position
