Job Description
Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Sr Associate, Cyber Sec Eng to develop and implement data protection control standards and guide business teams on security best practices. The role requires 7+ years of experience in information security monitoring & response in a large, complex environment. The position involves setting up encryption technologies, managing cryptographic keys, and implementing data loss prevention policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of information security best practices
- Excellent teammate skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to learn and use new technologies
- Background in networking, data security, and cloud-based applications
- Experience with distributed computing platforms, Azure services, and eco-system
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux-based environments
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in an information security monitoring & response role in a large, complex environment
