Northside Hospital is seeking a part-time Outpatient Oncology Clinical Dietitian II Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be a Certified Specialist in a designated specialty area, responsible for preparing and implementing nutritional care plans for patients. They will work closely with the medical staff, nursing staff, and other departments to provide nutritional counseling and support.
The Dietitian will prioritize patients at high risk, initiate supplements and snacks, and incorporate current evidence-based research into clinical practice. They will also provide nutritional counseling to patients, families, and others as requested.
This role requires a strong background in clinical dietetics, with specialized training in a specific population. The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent written and oral communication skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and have a strong knowledge of adult/parent education principles.
