Adjunct Instructor-Artificial Intelligence

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is seeking part-time instructors to teach foundational courses in Artificial Intelligence for its Certificate of Proficiency and Associate of Applied Science in Artificial Intelligence programs.

Requirements

• Deliver engaging and student-centered instruction aligned with NWACC's approved AI curriculum and learning outcomes
• Introduce students to foundational AI concepts, terminology, and real-world applications across business, education, healthcare, and technology
• Facilitate discussions on the ethical, social, and economic implications of artificial intelligence
• Demonstrate practical use of AI tools and platforms and guide students in hands-on projects
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work and assessments
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with college policies
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and integrate new technologies into instruction where appropriate
• Participate in required orientation, meetings, and professional development activities
• Use the college's learning management system (LMS) to post materials, communicate with students, and assess assignments
