Part-Time Faculty, Bicycle Mechanics Instructor

NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach bicycle mechanics courses, with a rate of pay of $765 per credit hour. The instructor will be responsible for teaching a 3–11 load of credit hours per semester, with flexibility to teach mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience in bicycle mechanics
• Industry certifications in bicycle mechanics or related technical areas
• Teaching experience at the college level or in a technical training setting
• Demonstrated teaching ability
• Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a plus
• Ability to use an online platform
• Experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning
• Familiarity with bicycle mechanics, repair, and maintenance
