Pharmacist-PT/PRN

Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWMRMC) is seeking a Pharmacist to join their healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care, and support the mission to deliver exceptional care to every patient, every time.

Requirements

• Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
• Review medication orders for accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and proper dosing.
• Provide clinical consultation and education to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient medication profiles and adjust therapy as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in formulary management, medication reconciliation, and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations, including controlled substance management.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns in daily operations.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety programs.
• Maintain knowledge of new drugs, therapies, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
