Job Description
The PRN Perioperative Registered Nurse provides care in the ambulatory setting, focusing on the psychosocial and physical needs of patients. This role involves conducting duties in multiple care areas, including GI, autologous, and conscious sedation. The nurse is a self-starter, team player, and resource person for both patients and the facility.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Prior operating room, surgical or circulator experience is preferred.
- Current Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the State of Mississippi or compact state.
- Two (2) years nursing experience preferred.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Current BCLS and ACLS certification or Basic EKG or Arrhythmia Identification certification.
