Job Description
This Registered Nurse-ER position provides patient evaluation, nursing care implementation, and assistance to physicians and nurses. The RN is responsible for performing patient tests, administering medications, promoting patient independence, and documenting patient care. The role involves working under a wide range of conditions and maintaining professional conduct and safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current Mississippi RN licensure
- BLS & ACLS/PALS/CPI certifications required within 6 months of hire
- TNCC 1-year hire/transfer into position
- Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne/airborne disease
- Must be able to see with corrective eye wear
- Must be able to hear clearly with assistance
- Ability to handle emergency or crisis situations.
