Job Description
Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a Practice Support Coordinator to join their Downtown Clinic, providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and transferring calls as necessary.
Requirements
- Provides NWOS patients, vendors, and customers with excellent customer service by answering and routing all incoming phone calls
- Accurately transfers calls to the appropriate employee, team, or department after following the flow chart for directions on incoming calls
- Reviews unsorted EMR records to correct charts or work-queues
- Provides clinic and appointment information to both internal and external callers
- Schedules as appropriate according to the task list
- Provides referral status to appropriate personnel
- Manage assigned work-queues
- Create patient communications as outlined in task list
- Maintains the strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
- Keeps supervisor informed of problems or issues
- Communicates in a positive and professional manner
- All other duties as assigned
