Custodian/Housekeeping

A Custodian/Housekeeping position is available at Friendship Manor Apartments. The job includes janitorial tasks, apartment turnovers, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment. The position reports directly to the Property Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping preferred
• Ability to effectively manage and solve problems
• Ability to take direction from a supervisor
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to use a computer for e-mail and internet
• Ability to write legibly
• Ability to work in a collaborative manner, as a member of a site team
• Ability to relate professionally with vendors, residents and co-workers
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to commit to the mission and values of the company
• Ability to be flexible to change work plans
• Ability to maintain a professional personal appearance
• Ability to drive a car (and a valid driver’s license).
