Job Description
NOV is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join their Security Architecture & Engineering team. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining technical controls, automating protection, and supporting secure architecture across IT and OT environments. The engineer will leverage AI/ML and PowerShell for automation and real-time response. The role requires a blend of hands-on technical work and architectural design.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a large enterprise environment
- Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or cloud security engineering
- Familiarity with identity and access platforms
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Solid understanding of network security, endpoint hardening, and cloud-native controls
