The NOV Pathway Rotational Program is a 2-year program for recent college graduates to develop strong functional/technical expertise and business knowledge through challenging, hands-on assignments and exposure to various groups within the NOV Energy Products and Services, Wellsite Services group.
Requirements
- graduating May 2026 or earlier, or recent graduate (0–2 years) with a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical ideas and concepts.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, control panels, wiring, instrumentation, PLCs, or related electrical/electronic projects (e.g., lab work, internships, personal projects, technical hobbies).
- Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and/or exposure to PLC programming and HMI development preferred.
- Previous oilfield experience or familiarity with drilling equipment and industrial systems preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems with minimal supervision.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and highly motivated to learn and grow within the organization.
- Willingness and ability to travel for up to 9 months total during the first year of the program.
