Job Description
The Senior Cost Accountant will partner with operations management, providing technical support with manufacturing processes. This role involves analyzing actual vs. plan data, reviewing products and materials, assisting with standard costing, auditing inventories, and developing reporting. The company emphasizes a focus on results and teamwork.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
- CPA/CMA Certification Preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High level of dedication to meeting customer requests
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experience utilizing ERP systems and understanding of MRP (material resource planning)
- Ability to relate manufacturing activities to financial outcomes
