Job Description
Nova 401(k) Associates is seeking a Defined Benefit Specialist (DB) to own end-to-end annual administration of DB and cash balance plans. The role involves serving as a trusted resource for clients and colleagues, driving high-quality technical deliverables, and leading complex projects. Senior team members will also mentor DB specialists.
Requirements
- Prepare annual actuarial work including valuations and ASC 715 & 916 calculations.
- Code DB and DC plans from scratch in Novaâs thirdâparty actuarial software.
- Conduct asset & liability analysis and communicate findings.
- Prepare proposal illustrations for prospects.
