Job Description
Cobequid Family of Schools is seeking Casual Educational Assistants to support students in various schools within their Family of Schools and Geographic area. The position involves day-to-day work and is supported by the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education. Applicants must provide documentation of education, and undergo a pre-employment screening process.
Requirements
- High school completion certificate or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Certificate/Diploma/Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, focusing on child and youth development.
- CSA Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR 'C'.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
- Criminal record check of the vulnerable sector (dated within 6 months of hiring).
- Child abuse register check (dated within 6 months of hiring).
