Job Description
The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is hiring for casual Early Childhood Educators for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a day-to-day position with a competitive rate. The role involves working within Pictou County, Cumberland County, East Hants, and Colchester County, serving preschool-aged children. Candidates must have an early childhood education diploma/degree, current First Aid/CPR certification, and undergo a criminal record check and child abuse register check.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in early childhood education
- Recent experience working with pre-school children in an early learning environment
- Current First Aid/CPR-C certification
- Criminal record check of the vulnerable sector
- Child abuse register check
- Original check dated within six months from the date of hire
