Job Description
Chignecto Family of Schools is seeking Casual Cafeteria Workers for the 2025-2026 school year. These workers will be on-call and responsible for preparing and serving food in school lunch programs, maintaining kitchen supplies, and ensuring food safety.
Requirements
- Completion of a culinary course preferred
- Experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
- Completion of food safety training program (or willingness to complete)
- Able to perform physically strenuous duties
- Availability for early morning shift start times
- Valid NS Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Criminal record check of the vulnerable sector (within 6 months of hire)
