Maintenance Leader

The Maintenance Lead supervises maintenance staff, schedules repairs, and performs hands-on technical work to ensure machinery, buildings, and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Assign daily tasks, monitor work progress, and provide on-the-job training for junior staff.
• Performs and oversees electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs.
• Develops and executes schedules for machinery, equipment, and building systems.
• Diagnoses complex equipment failures and repairs/replaces parts.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), and environmental regulations.
• Order parts, tools, and supplies while staying within the allocated maintenance budget.
• Coordinates with outside contractors for specialized repairs.
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, labor hours, and equipment history
