Job Description
Novate is an Industrial Technology Services firm with 20+ years of providing professional engineering design, turnkey project implementation, and support services for the technology that runs industrial production facilities.
Requirements
- Hands on experience as an Electrical Engineer in the industrial automation and controls industry.
- Solid understanding of common automation components, including PLCs, PACs, VFDs, I/O Systems, Servo Systems, Process Instruments, Sensors.
- Ability to create accurate professional drawings from concept sketches and shop drawings.
- Proficient using AutoCAD Suite and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to host/facilitate design reviews with client and team members with clear understanding of the design package.
- Solid understanding of I&C codes and standards, including the NEC, NFPA 70E, 79, and UL 508/A.
- Ability to effectively work with diverse personalities.
- Be team oriented.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to type 35 + WPM.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
