Job Description
Novetus Engineering LLC is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our growing professional services firm. The ideal candidate will bring 5-8 years of accounting experience and have a strong background in accrual accounting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5-8 years of accounting experience (accrual-based accounting is a requirement)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Query Design, data analysis)
- Proficient in accounting systems such as QuickBooks Desktop/Online, NetSuite, Sage, or similar
- Strong understanding of GAAP and partnership/LLC accounting principles
- Knowledge of project accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills for working across departments and with international clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
