Process Engineer

Role Overview

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes for Molded Fiber products, providing leadership for associates, and ensuring quality and process monitoring.

What You Will Do

Develop and improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot processing problems, create and maintain engineering documentation, establish processing parameters, and monitor production efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, leadership skills, analytical skills, and knowledge of Solid Works and AutoCAD. They will also have experience with Continuous Improvement, SPC Gain Seeker, and Food Safety/GMP.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards
• Management and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Continuous Improvement experience
• SPC Gain Seeker experience
• Food Safety/GMP experience
• Paper science or paper making experience
• Analytical skills and proven leadership effectiveness
• Experience and/or working knowledge of Solid Works and AutoCAD
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• PI systems experience (digital EOT systems)
• Proficient to expert knowledge in pulp and fiber process and tooling
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Time management
• Advance mathematical skills and numerical accuracy
