Principal Health & Safety Consultant

Novus are recruiting for an experienced health and safety consultant to deliver high-quality health & safety consultancy to clients in London and the South East. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and experience.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and experience
• Good communication skills and ability to influence others in a corporate environment
• Comprehensive experience in conducting audits, including general H&S compliance and topic-specific audits
• Track record in writing technical proposals
• Deliver health and safety training courses (IOSH accredited desirable)
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in maintaining a risk register
• Write policy and procedural documents with experience of implementation desirable
• Undertake accident investigations to identify root causes
• Experience in carrying out DSE workstation assessments and Fire Audits desirable
