The Supply Chain Planning Lead is responsible for leading projects for process and system improvements, representing and communicating for Supply Chain in cross-departmental collaborations and meetings, and overseeing capacity assumptions used as inputs. They will also serve as a liaison between Planners, Supply Chain Supervisors, and other departments, and analyze resources to make recommendations when running low capacity.
Requirements
- Reports to and assists Planning Supervisor
- Able to provide cross coverage for Supervisors in their absence
- Competently represents and communicates for Supply Chain in cross-departmental collaborations and meetings
- Works with Demand Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to ensure timely production of finished goods
- Leads projects for implementation of process and system improvements
- Analyzes assigned resources and makes recommendations when running low capacity
- Manages and reviews capacity assumptions used as inputs
- Oversees PIPO process with minimal loss
- Performing and coordinating T label communication and execution
- Performing and coordinating P Code communication and execution
- Preparing and overseeing work orders for each production value stream
- Reviews materials need and checks availability to support production schedule
- Monitors Aged Inventory Levels goals
- Ensures rework is accounted for and ingrained in plans to utilize and prevent loss
