Job Description
Maintenance Manager responsible for managing engineers and technicians, developing and executing maintenance and improvement activities to maintain/improve asset availability and reliability. Requires a BS Engineering/Technical degree, 5-10 years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, and 5 years of maintenance management experience.
Requirements
- BS Engineering/Technical degree
- 5-10 years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
- 5 years of maintenance management experience
- Solid understanding of heavy industrial production processes
- Mechanical engineering practices
- Electrical and instrumentation (E&I) applications
- CMMS and work order systems
- Troubleshooting and team building skills
- AC/DC motor control, drive packages, & PLCs
- Hydraulics, water systems, print reading and machine shop math
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint
- Six Sigma experience (plus)
- PE certification (plus)
- Knowledge of metallurgy (plus)
