Weâre looking for a strategic leader to drive the development of our consortium programmes, build strong relationships with partners and donors, and ensure full compliance with donor and internal requirements.
Requirements
- Provide overall direction and leadership of the Consortium to ensure seamless operations, leveraging complementarity among partners
- Coordinate with consortium members to ensure high quality implementation of activities, compliance with donor and consortium rules, and accountability to beneficiaries.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the project, including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and budget spending, ensuring project is always on scope and schedule
- Represent the Consortium towards relevant stakeholders, including national authorities, donors and counterparts, promoting the best interests of Consortium partners
- Line Manage and supervise the work of the Consortium Management Unit; carry out any needed recruitments, including for consultants
- Lead the consultations, design and preparation of the next phase of the Consortium based on evidenced needs, donor expectations and drawing from partnersâ diverse expertise
- Contribute to fundraising initiatives to diversify the Consortiumâs portfolio, actively seeking new relationships with donors and developing funding proposals
- Oversee and monitor the consortium partners âspending including the management of the consortium management unit budget
- Ensure effective coordination and communication among consortium members, steering and technical committees, programmatic and finance/support teams across partners.
