Head of Programme Mozambique

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking an experienced leader to build the programme portfolio in Mozambique. The Head of Programme will assume overall responsibility for programme development and strategic vision, ensuring effective communication between related functions and Area office/s.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' experience from a senior management position in a humanitarian context
• Experience of working in complex and volatile contexts
• NRC Core competencies expertise
• Documented results related to the position's responsibilities
• Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
• High level of communication, interpersonal, representation and negotiation skills

Benefits

• 12 months contract (renewable)
• Travel at least 40%
• Salary/benefits: grade 10 on NRC's International salary scale
