Engineer

NRG is seeking an Engineer to track plant performance, coordinate testing, provide technical support, and project manage plant improvements. The role requires both field operations and support of engineering, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include calculations, inspections, problem solving, equipment procurement, and design support.

Requirements

• Perform calculations in engineering discipline.
• Performs field inspections and takes field measurements.
• Ensure company resources are used in a cost-effective manner.
• Supports and emphasizes safety and environmental programs.
• Prepares equipment and system procurement specifications.
• Prepares construction, installation, maintenance, and repair specifications.
• Performs project management from conception to completion.
• Supports operations and maintenance with problem solving, information requests, and root cause investigations.
• Prepares operating instructions.
