Machinist Mechanic

NRG is seeking a Machinist Mechanic to provide manual support of power generation equipment in Central Repair Shop. The role involves maintenance, repair, and inspection of various equipment including boilers, turbines, and pumps. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journey level mechanical aptitude skills
• Industrial mechanical maintenance experience (3+ years)
• Large lathes, mills, and drilling machines
• 5+ years of Machinist experience
• Strong math and geometry skills
• Basic understanding of mechanical shop equipment
• Valid driver’s license
