Job Description
Power Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Machinist to perform machining and mechanical tasks within the organization. The Machinist will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and making replacements for machinery. This is a full-time position with overtime potential, requiring a strong work ethic and a good attitude.
Requirements
- Trouble shooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing machinery
- Operating conventional machinery (mill, lathe, saw, grinder)
- Drilling and tapping holes
- Measuring using various instruments
- Making fixtures for production parts
- Rebuilding and testing pressure controls
- Making reliable modifications to improve machinery
- Rebuilding and testing air compressors and valves
- Repairing control devices and select pumps
- Regular prolonged standing
- Regular lifting of 50 lbs
- Regular bending, kneeling, stooping
- Regular twisting/turning
- Regular reaching and working overhead
- Frequent pushing/pulling 50 lbs
- Occasional work in high noise situations
- Occasional work at elevations over 4 feet
