Steam Turbine EngineerIII/Specialist IV

NRG is seeking a Steam Turbine Engineer/Specialist to support fleet of steam turbines across the country. This role involves on-site support for field inspections, condition assessments, and repair activities. Engineers will also assist in development and review of quality plans, and monitor supplier quality.

Requirements

• Minimum Baccalaureate Degree in Engineering
• 5 years experience in steam or gas turbine equipment maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic knowledge of vibration analysis
• Knowledge of working materials and metallurgy
• Fundamental knowledge of control systems
• Knowledge of GE, Siemens, Westinghouse Steam turbines
• Effective communication skills
