Job Description
We're seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will prepare, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals to perform diagnostic procedures and therapies. You will work under the remote supervision of the Manager and be expected to adapt procedures and perform complex computer manipulations and analysis. This is a permanent full-time position with shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
