Utility Worker - Environmental Services

Utility Worker performs general repetitive tasks in maintaining an assigned area, maintains clean and sanitary conditions, and observes proper cleaning and disinfecting techniques. Participates in On-the-Job Training programs and extends courtesy and consideration to others in interpersonal relationships. Channels suggestions, concerns, and queries to appropriate authority and practices responsible cost effectiveness in the use of time, materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Grade 12/GED required or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and methods that apply to a health care setting is an asset
• Good communication skills are essential
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
