Azure Data Engineer

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, with a strong focus on Azure data services and cloud-based data storage. Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, and Scala is also required. The role involves designing and implementing tailored data solutions, providing thought leadership, and adhering to Agile practices throughout the solution development process.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience supporting Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics projects
• Ability to work from NTT DATA's ODC centers in Bengaluru, Chennai, or Hyderabad 3 days per week
• Demonstrated production experience in core data platforms such as Databricks and Azure related data services
• Expertise in SQL and Python (Spark) as data manipulation language
• Hands-on knowledge of Cloud and Distributed Data Storage, including ADLS
• Data integration technologies, encompassing Spark, Kafka, eventing/streaming, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks
