Lead Network Engineer

NTT DATA is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to support enterprise-level network operations and modernization activities across federal environments. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, resilient, and high-performance network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network appliances.
• Supporting network upgrades, modernization efforts, and cloud-connected architectures aligned with enterprise requirements.
• Monitoring network performance, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain system availability.
• Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to apply network security standards, manage firewall policies, and support compliance reviews.
• Creating and maintaining network diagrams, configuration documentation, and operational procedures.
• Supporting cross-functional teams by providing tier-III troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and technical guidance.
• Implementing best practices for routing, switching, load balancing, network segmentation, and secure connectivity in federal environments.
