Linux engineer

NTT DATA is seeking a senior-level Linux engineer with expertise in Red Hat Linux OS, automation skills, and a strong ability to lead technically and strategically. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with leadership and mentoring junior staff, while still being hands-on with evaluating new technologies, troubleshooting, scripting, and infrastructure design.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Linux infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance
• Mentor and lead technical staff, drive documentation and knowledge sharing, and serve as the primary subject matter expert for Linux systems within the organization
• Own Linux system lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, monitoring, incident response, and remediation aligned with InfoSec and audit requirements
• Document Infrastructure and Operations
• Plan and Execute Upgrades
