Technical Delivery Manager

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of Data & AI initiatives and provide clarity, direction, and confidence to high-performing teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex Data & AI programmes within UK Central Government
• Strong understanding of GDS Service Standards and the Technology Code of Practice
• Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary technical teams
• Deep experience in Agile delivery methodologies within regulated environments
• Strong commercial acumen, including financial forecasting and margin ownership
• Expertise in risk management, governance, and structured reporting
• Experience delivering cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP awareness beneficial)
• Knowledge of secure-by-design principles and compliance-led delivery
