Senior System Engineer - Performance Engineer position at Nubank in Toronto, Canada. Requirements

• Cloud Expertise: Experience and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
• Production Environment: Background working with critical, high-availability services.
• JVM & Internals: Deep interest in understanding service internals, JVM architecture, and performance characteristics.
• OS Fundamentals: Knowledge of operating systems (scheduling, memory management, I/O) is a strong plus.
• Analytical Thinking: Passion for performance tuning, capacity planning, and finding creative ways to improve system efficiency.
• Cultural Alignment: Enthusiasm for ownership, simplicity, and a'veracity-first' approach to problem-solving.
