Staff Software Engineer

Nu is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to the development of their financial products, utilizing Clojure as the primary programming language. The role focuses on building and scaling microservices, leveraging cloud technologies, and promoting continuous integration and deployment in a process-light Agile environment. Candidates will be mentored within small, independent teams and responsible for maintaining code, running monitoring, and contributing to all aspects of system development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing digital products
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale systems
• Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives
• Good communication skills
• Advanced English skills
