Job Description
The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing 101's fleet of vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and in optimal working condition.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification in diesel technology, preferred
- 2-5+ years of experience in diesel engine repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment mechanics
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or ability to obtain
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents
- Familiarity with DOT inspection requirements and preventative maintenance programs
- Basic computer skills for work orders, parts lookup, and maintenance tracking systems
